Here at DFPA, the safety and wellbeing of every student is our top priority. We are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and child-safe environment where all young performers can thrive and feel supported both in and out of the studio.

DFPA upholds a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and aligns all practices with the Victorian Child Safe Standards to ensure every student feels respected, protected, and empowered. Our staff and volunteers are trained to identify and respond to any concerns, and we continually review our policies to maintain the highest standards of care.

Code of Conduct

At DFPA, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, respect & child safety across all areas of our studio. Our Child Safe Code of Conduct outlines the behaviours expected from all staff, teachers, volunteers, contractors & committee members to ensure a secure, inclusive & supportive environment for every student.

We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse, neglect, or discrimination. Everyone representing DFPA is expected to act in the best interests of children at all times, uphold respectful communication, maintain appropriate professional boundaries & follow all DFPA safety, supervision & reporting procedures.

Our Code of Conduct promotes fairness, transparency & accountability, reinforcing our commitment to protecting every child’s right to feel safe, valued & empowered.
